We’re back together!
Dear Church Family!
We trust you are all well and have been living out this season in faith and confidence in our great God! You have certainly been the Church of God in action over the last few months – being the hands and feet of Jesus around our great city, being part of our online services and continually sowing financially into the Kingdom of God. Thank you for continuing to influence your world for good and for God.
Restrictions are now lifting and our first service back as a Citipointe, Brisbane community will be July 19 – 8:30am, 10:15am, 12pm, 4:15pm & 6pm. Being together again is cause for celebration! As fantastic as online church has been, we have certainly missed seeing people, worshiping together and lifting the name of Jesus as a church family. Now, as we return to live services, we want you to know that we will be taking all the necessary precautions and hygiene measures to ensure social distancing and safety for all our church members. In light of this, we will be implementing the following procedures from July 19.
RSVP for your service
Due to social distancing within the auditorium, our services require capped numbers. We would love you to choose the service that you want to attend each week and RSVP each week to reserve your place. We cannot guarantee you a seat if you don’t pre-book as we have allocated a certain number of seats for any new people and visitors that may turn up on the day. You will be able to book your whole family into the service or Citipointe Kids from the link below.
We are required to record the personal details of every person who attends a service. Our team will make this as easy as possible for you and there will be directions on how this will be done as you arrive. To assist us with this process we would ask that you arrive early so that you do not miss any part of the service.
SPACING AND SEATING ARRANGEMENT
The seats will be arranged in accordance with physical distancing guidelines. People from the same household may sit together, however, separate family groups and individuals are unable to sit together. We will have allocated seating for individuals and family groups and our host team will assist you in finding seats.
NOT FEELING WELL?
We would ask that in line with Health Department guidelines if you are feeling unwell please rest at home. We will continue to stream our services each Sunday at 8:30am, 10:15am and 6:00pm over this time so those unwell or who are uncomfortable with returning to gatherings can still be part of them. If you are not well please let us or your Lifegroup Leader know and as a family we will pray for you.
We love our incredibly friendly culture, but, let’s skip the hugs and handshakes in favour of smiling and waving. There will be hand sanitizer available at check-in for your use.
Our host team will be especially diligent in opening doors for you to prevent you making unnecessary contact with door handles.

On Communion Sundays, we will provide pre-packaged communion at check- in. Used packaging can be placed under your seat and we will collect at the end of the service.
We ask that you give online or you can place your offering at the Giving Stations positioned inside the auditorium. If using the Giving Stations, we ask that machines be wiped down after each use with the wipes provided.
If any new information emerges or we implement additional safety procedures, we will inform you by email, website, and social media. We encourage everyone to connect with us via social media so that you can be made aware of our immediate updates and regularly check our website at citipointechurch.com.
For updates on social media specific to your location, please ensure you stay tuned to the Citipointe Brisbane Facebook and Instagram accounts.
In spite of the restrictions, we cannot wait to gather once again. July 19 is going to be a great day!
Meanwhile, let’s continue to pray and stand in faith for our world to know the love, grace and truth of Jesus Christ.
All God’s best,
Ps Mark & Leigh Ramsey
