HEALTH AND SAFETY NOTICE REGARDING CORONAVIRUS COVID-19

Last updated June 8, 2020, 5:00pm EST

The below advice is in relation to Citipointe Church – Northern Colorado, USA.

Hi Church Family!

We trust you are all well and living out this present season in faith and confidence in a great God! You have certainly been the Church of God in action over the last couple of months – being the hands and feet of Jesus around our great city, being part of our online services and continually sowing financially into the Kingdom of God.

As the restrictions are lifted, we are certain that you would be looking forward to our next steps in gathering together once again as a church community.  We want you to know we are working towards this being led by the Holy Spirit and our government in order to do this wisely – keeping your health and safety as our main priority. There are even some things we will need to implement that will become a new normal for our physical gatherings moving forward.

At present, it is still mandatory for social distancing and masks to remain in place  (according to Larimer County variance document); and due to this we feel to wait a little longer before we return to weekly services of physical gatherings.  We want to ensure we are gathering in accordance with government guidelines so that our doors remain open and we can continue BEING the Church.

Let us be clear – the church never shut! Our building may be closed but we are open for the business of Jesus! So we ask that you would join with us for Citipointe At HOME on a Sunday.  It’s more than an online Sunday service – it’s HOME church as an intentional discipleship tool to build incredible friendships, grow in our relationship with God, and become more proactive with becoming a disciple of Christ.  It’s REVIVAL – beginning in homes across Colorado!

We want you to gather on a Sunday in homes together – watch the online service, worship, discuss the key points of the message and minister to each other.  And, of course, follow all of this with FOOD – communing together over the feasting table. What a great experience to have together as the church. The testimonies we have had of those doing this already have been incredible.  People have loved the depths of discussion and the closeness they feel as a group. In a time where people potentially feel isolated, we know it will strengthen the church in this season.

We would LOVE for you to attend or host a Citipointe At HOME experience. It’s super easy! Invite your lifegroup, your family, your co-workers and those who you engage with in your world who are yet to know Jesus and invite them to be a part of a growing community of faith and compassion.

Also launching in June:

  1. Prayer on Wednesdays:

We will be opening our doors on Wednesday mornings for people who want prayer during the week.  There will be leaders in the lobby ready to receive people from 10am-12pm.

  1. Park Hangs on Sundays:

Come join as a community every Sunday at 2pm at a designated park in Northern Colorado.  Invite a friend and come connect with others.

  1. Koinonia Dinners:

Koinonia is the Greek word for “breaking bread”.  This is an opportunity for people to connect and build relationships over dinner in homes on a monthly basis.

As a church we are full of expectancy of seeing Jesus build His church even in this current season.  We fully believe if we all UNITE and capture the VISION moving forward, these next few weeks can strengthen and propel each of us to fulfil what Jesus asked us to do in Matthew 28; “Go and make disciples!”

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

We miss you and love you!!
