The below advice is in relation to Citipointe Church Australia.

Dear Church Family,

Today Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced a restriction on indoor public gatherings of more than 100 people and the social distancing of 1.5 metres between individuals due to Coronavirus (COVID-19).  We wanted to outline for you how this restriction will impact our church activity over the coming weeks.

We believe that at this time it is essential for the Church to continue being the Church. We will be going to Citipointe Church Online through our Citipointe TV Youtube channel which you can subscribe to here now.

We will be broadcasting services at 8:30am, 10:15am and 6:00pm (AEST) starting THIS SUNDAY with a powerful worship experience and our Global Senior Pastor Mark Ramsey beginning a timely 4 part message series called ‘Winning in a War Zone’.

Giving options will still be available as normal and we encourage you to continue sowing into the Kingdom of God. You can give online here, set up automatic recurring payments, or you can text the word ‘Citipointe’ to 0488 202 202.

Although we may not be physically gathering within our church building, this is an opportunity to strengthen our church community in our homes by connecting with family and friends through Citipointe Lifegroups. We encourage you to continue Lifegroups mid-week and on Sundays for “Watch Parties”. If you want to find out more or get connected, please contact us via the website to find one near you!

The Church is still the Church. We are encouraging the Church to remain “in position”. This means a proximity of heart in the midst of the social distancing season. We also know that God moves in times of unprecedented uncertainty.  He indeed is our only certainty and firm foundation. We know that the Church thrives in times of crisis. We know that God raises up a standard when the enemy comes in like a flood. And we know that He makes all things work together for good.

If you are unwell or uncertain, please make contact with us so we can support you and pray with you.

This brings us to a very important point. We would love to ensure that all our family and friends remain connected over this time. Please click here to fill out our Online Connect Card, even if you have already previously provided your details so that we can stay in communication with you. Stay tuned on our social media accounts too for further updates!

So, what else can you do?

  • Call five friends and check in on how they’re doing. Be positive and full of faith. Pray with them.
  • Reach out… to an elderly person, an unwell person, an anxious person. Make a phone call, deliver some groceries and leave them on the doorstep.
  • Pray for our leaders.

During this time, the church will still be a light to this world and we encourage you to continue unmistakably influencing our world for good and for God.
