Dear Church,
Every year as we step into our Faith Love Hope season, we pause together as a church family to believe God for the next chapter of what He wants to do through our community.
From the very beginning, our mandate has been simple but powerful — to unmistakably influence our world for good and for God. One of the ways we live this out is by being a visible, welcoming, life-giving presence in our city. In recent months we've heard a story repeated again and again from people who are visiting our church for the first time. Many have said something like this: "I've been driving past this church for years, the one with the palm trees on Elizabeth Avenue, and I've always felt like one day I should stop and come to a service." And when they finally do, they encounter Jesus. Lives are changed. People are saved.
It reminds us of something powerful — our presence in this community matters.
We believe deeply in what we often call architectural evangelism — the idea that even our building and our space can be a witness. A place that signals to our city: You are welcome here. There is hope here. There is life here.
That's why this year, as we step into Faith Love Hope, we're inviting our church family to sow a faith seed toward improving our front green spaces and accessibility for those with disabilities. Our heart is to create a more welcoming, engaging, and communal entry into our church. A space that reflects the warmth of the Kingdom and opens the doors even wider for our community.
For several years now we've been holding onto a prophetic word that God is opening double doors into our community. We believe this speaks of two things: the Church being sent into our city, and our city finding an open door into the Church. As we sow together, we're not simply improving a facility. We're investing into the future harvest of our city. Our prayer is bold and faith-filled. That Moreton Bay City would become known as Salvation City. A region marked by the redemptive power of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for being a church that lives generously, believes boldly, and carries a deep love for our city.
With faith and expectation,
By The Numbers
